ALL ABOUT

Contract Manufacturing

The services offered by Contract Manufacturing (CDMOs) are pre-formulation, formulation development, stability studies, method development, pre-clinical and Phase I clinical trial materials, late-stage clinical trial materials, registration batches, formal stability, scale-up, and commercial production, among others. CDMOs are contract manufacturers and provide development as a basic service.

What is the difference between CMO and CDMO?

A contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) creates a ready-to-use medicine. In contrast, a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) covers everything from pre-formulation and formulation development through clinical trials and production.

Because all services are handled in one place, the through-process dependability of a CDMO might be appealing. However, both organisations can efficiently and accurately incorporate new medication items into the pharmaceutical sector.
